Wood briquettes
Wood briquettes are most often made from sawdust and planing shavings, which are pressed together under high pressure. With this, the wood's natural "glue", namely ligninet, binds the different parts together to form the briquette that many people know by the name RUF. RUF has become synonymous with wood briquettes, but is actually the name of a machine that manufactures the characteristic square briquettes. It is a clean and natural fuel that does not contain toxic or added substances. The briquettes come in several shapes and colors, depending on the type(s) of wood and machine used in the manufacture.
RUF
RUF is the classic square briquette that most often has this logo embossed at the top. The briquettes come in 10 kg foil sacks that keep the material dry. RUF has a good calorific value and can burn for a long time.
PINI KAY
PINI KAY is named after a special Japanese technique that uses a much higher pressure in pressing than the ordinary square and round briquettes. This causes the density to be higher and thus also the calorific value. They are packed in 10 kg of foil sacks. They can last overnight.
NESTRO/RONDO
NESTRO/RONDO is a long-burning hard-pressed wood briquette, which in principle is made in the same way as RUF, but is round. The shape and weight of the briquette make it glow overnight. Comes in 10 kg of foil sacks to keep the material dry.
Wood briquettes are supplied wholesale only in full loads.
